Each Boujad rug is uniquely crafted by the indigenous women in a little area of the Haouz, Morocco in between the eastern Atlas and the western Atlantic Ocean. Each Moroccan rug tells a unique story with the inclusion of unique natural stone and wooden motifs indigenous to the Moroccan soil. Most Moroccan rugs in this family are handmade by women from the community itself and they are decorated in their own cultural style and with their own native artistry
