Taznakht rugs are made in the southern side of the High Atlas, the bastion of the Ait Ouaouzguite confederation, Taznakht are fine low pile tribal rugs that took their design from the Oriental rugs and Urban Moroccan rugs, they are know to be one of the oldest Moroccan weaving styles, as it is very distinctive with its symmetrical knot on a double channel.
