In the Atlas mountains of Morocco, a small community of Berber carpet weavers has been handcrafting and handwoven traditional rugs for generations! This process is entirely done by hand, one knot after another. In fact, when our customers place an order, we pass it along to the same people, shepherds, dyers, and weavers whose craftsmanship has become legendary through time!
As you can see here, tribal motifs are very present, they are inspired by the peaks of the Atlas mountains surrounding the small Berber villages, where the craftswomen actually live.
